Well, I'm doing a little cleaning up of my image files as I listen to the rain beat down around here. We need the rain, I just wish it wouldn't all try to fall within about 10 minutes!
It was another great week and I had the opportunity to meet and work with some really fantastic people. I was able to shoot some images for The Grand Pet Resort and also Hulen Hills Animal Hospital. I have been working with Bo Parker of RMC and while the weather wasn't as cooperative as we would have liked, I think we got everything we needed. I can't wait to see what Bo does with the images! Those facilities are beautiful and the people working their were great! It's not easy having a camera following you around at work. Well, unless you are a television person or a model.
Speaking of models... Heather and I had been trying to work out a time when she could come in and get a few images taken and we were finally able to get together and make that happen. Thanks Heather, it was fun working with you!
I also did some more work on the continuing project of the Samaritan House construction. They are just about ready to open two of their large housing units. It has been amazing to see how fast these building have gone up!
Well, who knows what the weekend holds? Enjoy!!

Nice end to a great weekend...
I finished up a fantastic weekend by doing a few test shots with some folks at the Toni & Guy hair salon at the Northeast Mall. It was a lot of fun and some folks had the opportunity to get in front of my camera with their new hair styles. Everyone had a good time and it really capped off a fun filled but busy weekend. Here's a couple of the shots from the session. Thanks to Lauren and Patrick and everyone else who participated.

Main Street Arts Festival
I swung by the arts festival today and it was very cool. Lots of interesting things to see and also tons of great food to snack on while checking out all the displays. Combine that with the various musical acts going on and it makes for an awesome time! I'll be heading back for sure!!
This is a shot of one of the members of the group 4-Way Street, they are a Crosby, Stills and Nash tribute band and they had the crowd singing along to some classic tunes....
And this second shot shows off some of the great food that is available. Man, that concoction must weigh a pound!!

I know, I've been slacking off....
Sorry it has been a while since I updated here. I had some minor surgery and now I'm back to feeling well. I'm also very excited about an upcoming project. I'll post a quick picture from today's walk-through where I met with Steve Hotchkiss of Hulen Hills Animal Hospital in Fort Worth. They have opened an incredible pet resort called The Grand and it is fantastic! I'll be working with their agency to help put together promotional pieces as well as updating some images for the hospital. These two adjacent businesses combine everthing a pet owner could want. A great place to have your pet stay if you have to travel and a pet hospital that is state of the art!
If you have a pet, I think you should check this place out. They have a pool for the dogs, little televisions in the suites so your pet can watch tv and cameras so you can monitor them during their stay! I know I wish I could check in on my guys when I travel. Well, here you can.

Some from the weekend

They're here!!!
I was able to get out to the track early this morning and found members of the NASCAR Busch Series Team #5 owned by Rick Hendrick on their way to start with their technical inspection requirements. The Busch series teams are readying their cars for todays practice session and the race on Saturday.
Later I watched some of the practice sessions as the racers worked to tune their cars for Saturday's race. Check back for more pictures!

It's race week!!!
Right up the road from me is Texas Motor Speedway and this weekend we are getting ready for NASCAR to come to town. A good friend of mine was kind enough to pass along a spare ticket so it looks like I will get to see and hear the action live! I can't wait! I took a drive up there today to see what is going on, it's always interesting to see the "behind the scenes" work. The TV trucks are rolling in and the vendor rigs are starting to set up. Looks like it is going to be pretty cool. I haven't been to a race in a couple of years. The last one was in Pocono a while back.
